According to the OECD, women have lower levels of financial literacy than men in most of the countries evaluated. In Latin America, the World Bank estimates that around 40% of women do not have an account in a formal financial institution. And when we talk about investment, the distance is greater: less participation, fewer assets, less equity. In this context, cryptocurrencies can be a path to inclusion, or a new mechanism of exclusion.
